  • About Schouten Global

Building on more than thirty years’ experience in real behavioral change, we don't simply provide clients with solutions, we teach them to find their own by tapping into their talents, building their strengths, addressing intrinsic motivation and connecting to their core values. Our approach leads to motivated and empowered people with all the skills necessary to navigate today's continuously changing business environment. Schouten Global helps people improve themselves and their business, in a truly authentic way because we believe in results through people.

Since its foundation in 1980, Schouten Global has been through quite some transformational changes itself. From a small start-up company run from a home office, we have grown into a multinational organization employing over 500 people and serving more than 5000 clients. Obviously this did not occur overnight. After building a leading market position in the Netherlands, first steps were taken in the international market in 1997, when we set up business in Poland. From then on, our international spirit was ignited and global growth proceeded. Today our global footprint has expanded with dedicated offices in China, Russia, Poland, Germany and Belgium, in addition to our Dutch headquarters. A large network of over 700 freelancers completes an infrastructure that enables us to deliver training and coaching programs literally anywhere in the world, in any language.

    why keystone behaviours?

Independent research confirms that only a limited number of critical skills differentiate those best able to perform in the new work environment. We call them keystone behaviors, because they support the core structure of the organization.

Surprisingly, only 5% of the current workforce shows a strong combination of these essential leadership skills in practice. That makes investment in these leadership skills more essential than ever before. Just imagine what your organization could achieve by improving your staff's performance by 5% or 10% or even more.

The keystone model gives an overview of essential leadership skills that drive business results. Depending on the ambition of your organization and the context in which it operates, a specific set of keystones is relevant.
